The ISOPur® Balanced Charge Agglomeration® (BCA) technology is capable of purifying heavily contaminated transformer oil, thereby reducing dielectric KV levels and solving dangerous arcing. The insulators and contact points are all scoured clean, stabilizing the environment. Con Edison had been scheduling shut -downs every three months but after using ISOPur for only a year, the shut-downs have been reduced.
